Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions are to be adhered to by all DIY-Dating webmasters at all times unless otherwise stated

The DIY-Dating system is operated by Leamore Internet LTD. Throughout this document this will be referred to as LIL.


1) If you use your own domain name and your domain name moves away from our system, we reserve the right to holdback all outstanding payments for up to 1 year. This is to cover for any chargebacks we may receive due to service interruption, following the domain moving away from our system. If chargebacks amount to more than the amount we are holding, LIL reserve the right to seek these chargebacks from you via necessary action.
LIL reserve the right to move profiles from sites where the domain name is no longer pointing to our system over to another site on our system that is part of the same database. This is to make sure the customer can continue to use the services they had access to before the domain moved away from our system.
2) If any outstanding payments that LIL holds back as a result of "section 1" do not cover the total chargebacks amount that LIL has already paid out to you, LIL may seek any financial costs incurred as a result refunding customers due to loss of service.
3) A minimum payout threshold is in place for all commission payouts. In order for commission to be issued, a set amount of commission from initial upgrades must be generated for the payout period in question.
The threshold on commission of UK-based webmasters is £100.
For webmasters based outside the UK, the minimum payout threshold is £100 or $200 depending on which currency thay have chosen to be paid in.

Recurring commission (rebills)
Commission is paid on on all recurring subscription transactions where the site in question qualifies and re-billing has been activated.
The same minimum payout threshold applies to recurring payouts as does to commission generated via initial upgrades.
For example; if a site generates commission from recurring transactions but has not generated revenue above the minimum payout threshold from initial upgrades, commission will be retained and rolled over to the next payout period. Commission will carry on rolling over to the next payout period until the minimum payout thresold from initial upgrade commission is surpassed.
4) If you are using a free sub-domain provided by LIL via the DIY-Dating system:- The domain name and site URL remain the property of ‘Leamore Internet LTD’ and cannot be sold or transferred to other parties
5) You may not create false profiles within your site. False profiles include but are not restricted to:
  1. Profiles that contain pictures and/or information that does not relate to the person that created the profile.
  2. Profiles that are fictitious/made up.
  3. Profiles that are created for marketing purposes i.e. contacting non-full site members with a message to generate an upgrade.
  4. Profiles that have been created for self-promotion.
  5. Profiles that are clearly fake. i.e. a profile including obviously fake pictures for example a picture of a well known celebrity which the user claims to be them.
6) The DIY-Dating system is intended to allow its members to contact each other with the intention of creating relationships, personal encounters and casual friendships. The same rules apply to webmasters with profiles on the system as to regular site members.
  1. Upgrades will not be paid out where webmasters have paid for an upgrade via their own site, effectively with a view to gaining a half price membership.
  2. One hundred profile free six month upgrades are to be used in the same way as a standard fully upgraded membership. It is NOT intended to be used as a marketing tool.
  3. You may not use our internal messaging system to contact users in an attempt to gain commission for your site
7) You may not add services to your site that would confuse the customer into thinking that payments to LIL would include the services offered by yourself (or any other third party), or that these services are provided by LIL.
8) Tracking statistics are provided although some referral information may be removed by LIL to provide privacy to your customers
9) LIL reserve the right to change the content on your site should we receive any complaints or navigation problems
10) LIL does not guarantee that templates we provide work with every variation of web browser Internet clients (web browsers).
11) Sending unsolicited news groups/web sites and e-mail addresses with unsolicited e-mails is prohibited.
12) Payments will not be made to site owners who have used their own site in an effort to reduce their own membership fee
13) For Non-Niche sites, the Hostname, Site name and content must be generic and not considered offensive. For example, a site that is promoted as being a site solely for the rural farming community is considered too specific as the database contains a vast mixture of profiles. Any users that join the site thinking that it is going to be filled with rural folk will most probably disappointed when they find it difficult to find what they are looking for. Care must be taken with wording on the front page.
14) Hostname, Site name and content must be generic and not considered offensive. Do NOT include words and titles that could be considered offensive, demeaning or inflammatory.
15) You may include links to other sites within your site, but not include links to competitors web site on the front page. We appreciate that links to other related sites is an essential part of marketing your site, but please only include such links in the links section of your site.
  1. Links to Web sites promoting activities and promotions that LIL judges to be in-appropriate will be removed.
  2. Links to external messaging systems that would enable customers to bypass the need to upgrade their account, eg forums, newsgroups etc will be removed.
16) Links to external sites must not be positioned in a manner that would obstruct the standard navigation of our system. This also includes the use of pop-ups and pop-unders, both of which are strictly forbidden.
17) Do NOT make the site out to be a personal site or club revolving around a single person. For example, do NOT create a site called SexyKaty.com with intro text saying "welcome to my web site, meet me inside!". If customers are misled, they will more than likely cancel their account.
  1. Do NOT include personal details on the pages of your site. For example; do not include a sentence such as: my name is Fred, I am the webmaster of this site and my e-mail address is fred123456@somedomain.com. Such sentences will be removed without notice.
18) Do not include prices on the front page of the site. Prices are to be included in the upgrade section of the site only.
19) Site navigation must be consistent from site to site and therefore must include all of the links that are originally included within each template. Help and support for end users can only be provided by LIL. This enables our customer service staff to deal quickly and efficiently with all site related queries.
20) The inclusion of, and references to any illegal and/or immoral activities is strictly forbidden on all sites using the DIY-Dating system.
  1. Explicit and/or illegal acts of sexually related material including but not exclusive to child pornography, violence and bestiality are strictly prohibited from being used or mentioned in sites on the DIY-Dating network.
  2. LIL reserves the right to disclose information regarding providers of such content to the relevant authorities.
21) DIY-Dating system content may not be used externally by web masters.
  1. Profiles that appear on any site using the DIY-Dating site engine are protected by the UK Data protection act 1998 and as such, may not be used or copied in any way outside of their original context.
  2. All site graphics and templates that are provided by LIL via the DIY-Dating system remain the sole intellectual property of LIL and as such, may not be used externally on any document (web based or otherwise) without express written permission.
22) Your site including the domain name or sub-domain must not infringe on any trademarks. Offending sites will be deleted from the system.
  1. If a site is created on the DIY-Dating system that perceived to be to similar in name to another site on our system, LIL reserves the right to delete that site at its discretion.
